Requirements for a minimum IELTS score

You won't receive any points if your CLB is 4 or lower. You will receive the maximum number of points, which is 34 or 32, if your CLB score is 10 or above (if you are married).

The minimal language requirement for NOC A positions is CLB 7. The prerequisite for NOC B positions is CLB 5. The CLB levels that correspond to individual IELTS scores are listed below.

You will be judged on factors other than language ability, such as age, education, and work experience. The cutoff point for obtaining permanent residency through Canada Express Entry was 439 points, which was on December 19, 2018.
