Rules and Regulations for IELTS Test Centers

 IELTS test centres in India follow a consistent set of rules and regulations which should be adhered to before taking the test.

• Candidates must bring their original passport or a national ID, including a passport number, a signature, a date of birth, and a photograph.
• Applicants may bring their national ID or passport. IELTS exam centres in India will supply a pen or pencil and an eraser.
• Students taking the test should leave their phones or other electronic devices outside the room at the IELTS test locations and turn them off.
• Any problems with the computer or any other discrepancy faced should be reported immediately to the test supervisor at the IELTS centre.
• No eatables or drinks are permitted inside the test room.
• Test takers are not permitted to remove any material used during the exam at the IELTS test centre.

What to bring to IELTS testing centres?

 There are strict rules and regulations that test-takers must follow thoroughly. The following are not permitted at IELTS test centres in India:

• Bringing food to the IELTS centre.
• No beverages are permitted inside the testing facility.
• The only items permitted inside the test room are a pen, pencil, sharpener, eraser, and identification.
• Students can also bring hand sanitizer to the testing centre to maintain basic hygiene.
• Students are not permitted to bring a watch to any IELTS exam centre in India, regardless of the type of watch.
