IELTS GENERAL READING
- Reading is the second module attempted during the final test.
- It is a 60 minutes test of your reading skills and you are advised to spend 20 minutes on each section.
- There are three sections in the reading test. Each section comprises of a reading passage and 13 to 14 questions. There are 40 questions in total. The first 2 passages in general training has 4 different and small sections whereas, the third one is long single passage.
- You must write all the answers on an answer sheet while reading because there is no extra time for transferring answers.
IELTS General Training Reading has a total of 40 questions. Each correct answer carries one mark. So, total marks are calculated out of 40. There is no negative marking which means that one is not penalized for an incorrect answer.
