This platform will help you prepare for the IELTS test. It is advised to keep a time constraint while practicing these tests. The following points should be kept in mind while attempting these tests:
All modules, namely Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking are segregated into sections as per the standard IELTS format.
It is recommended you get familiar with each task type.
Work on developing your strategy for each task type.
Each test is presented over a number of web pages; therefore, the candidate is required to attempt all the questions by proceeding to further web pages.
You may develop your test technique.
Also, remember the Listening, Reading and Writing tests are scheduled on the same day; however, the Speaking interview may or may not be conducted on the same day. Keeping the above in mind, you are advised to take the test in a real test-like environment.
This module lasts for 25-30 minutes, and you have 10 minutes at the end of the test to transfer your answers to the answer sheet provided by the invigilators.
The duration of the Reading module is 60 minutes. There is no extra time to transfer your answers to an answer sheet. You are expected to complete all sections, attempting 40 questions during the allocated time.
The Writing test lasts for 60 minutes, during which you are expected to complete two tasks. During an actual pen and paper exam, you are provided with an answer sheet that is submitted at the end of the test.
The Speaking test is a face to face interview with a certified Examiner for 11- 14 minutes. For practice purposes, this module is divided into three sections for you to prepare answers.
