Canada IELTS band requirements 2023

IELTS is necessary to ensure that all international students can manage their studies in an environment where the medium of instruction and education is English. For people trying to immigrate also, they must be well-versed in the language.
Minimum Requirement
It would help if you had an IELTS score of at least 5.5 in each of the four modules and an overall score of 6.0 or higher for undergraduate and diploma programs to be eligible to apply for a study visa in Canada.
More than 6
Please be aware that the maximum IELTS score is 7.0 overall per module if you pursue a degree in engineering, teaching, or education studies.

Depending on their profiles, general training candidates sometimes need 7 or 8 band scores.
