The Canadian government has outlined a plan to address the acute labour shortage by allowing skilled immigrants from sixteen categories. All these categories are managed under the express entry system.
NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL CLASSIFICATION (NOC) IS NOW IN
EFFECT:
The IRCC ministry under Sean Fraser implemented the NOC 2021 for the
immigration programs managed under the Express Entry system.
The implementation
of the new NOC has opened the doors for quality talent worldwide to enter
Canada via highly demanded primary sectors such as healthcare, construction, and
transportation.
MULTIPLE PRIMARY SECTORS HAVE BEEN OPENED
Various allied sectors have a good scope and are in high demand now that the doors to the new 16 occupations have opened. Some significant allied jobs in demand include medical care, such as nurses, care nurses, school teachers for both elementary and secondary schools, hospital attendants etc.

THE NOC SYSTEM TRACKS AND CATEGORIZES JOBS:
The Express Entry Scheme gets a push from the new PR opportunity for skilled people from lifeline sectors of the Canadian economy that have been structured by the NOC, which smoothens the HR market by tracking and categorizing the jobs in the Canadian market.
