With the new COVID-19 virus variants such as “OMICRON 5.2 and 0.7” cropping up and the pandemic still being far over, countries around the world are adopting a cautious approach in permitting overseas students for higher education
ENSURE VACCINATION
Vaccination is a must-have criterion for international students to attend campus physical lectures. Moreover, appropriate doses should be taken by International students for protection from Corona variants.
VACCINE CERTIFICATE MANDATORY
Indian students must have a vaccine certificate after getting the requisite vaccination which smoothens the management process for authorities.
COLOR CODING LIST OF COUNTRIES
Many countries have adopted the approach of scrutinizing a colour-coded list of countries (red, Amber & green), with green colour-coded countries students getting entry quickly for studies abroad followed by Amber .
MONTHLY CAP OF STUDENTS
Student entry into some countries abroad has been regulated with certain conditions to pursue scanning of students before entry into their countries, reducing the intensity of students' entry abroad
QUARANTINE PERIOD MANDATORY
Students will need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival as corona-affected students could be traced in the meantime, and necessary medical aid could be provided instantly to avoid any hurdles in the education system abroad.
GOVERNMENT-AUTHORIZED HOTELS FOR QUARANTINE PERIOD
Some countries have ensured that international students will complete their quarantine in government-authorized hotels updated with corona pandemic precautions and tackle any vulnerable case.
MANDATORY TO WEAR MASK
Social behaviour and attitude need revamping as students must wear masks to avoid catching up with new variants of the coronavirus and creating hurdles in their education in a foreign country.
