An expected subject-wise weightage for GATE 2023 is presented here. It is based on the weightage of subjects from 2022 to 2018. It is based on a detailed analysis from the previous 5 years.
The expected weightage is 15% for the General Aptitude section of GATE 2023.
General Aptitude
Both subjects have an expected weightage of 5 to 6 and 7 to 9 percent, respectively.
Engineering and Discrete Mathematics
These subjects will cover an expected weightage of 4 to 5 and 7 to 9 % respectively in the GATE 2023 Exam.
Digital Logic and COA
Both subjects have 8 to 10 and 7 to 10 % of expected weightage respectively in GATE 2023.
Programming and Data Structures & Algorithms
These two subjects expected weightage in the GATE 2023 will be 8 to 9 and 5 to 7 % respectively.
Theory of Computation & Compiler design
The subject of OS is expected to get a weightage of about 5 to 7 % in GATE 2023.
Operating System
Both subjects are expected to have a share of around 8 to 9 and 7 to 8% respectively this year for GATE.
