How are GRE marks distributed?

Percentile rank indicates how your GRE scores compare to those of others. Such as, a scaled Verbal score of 150 translates to roughly the 47th percentile, meaning that you scored better than 47 percent of other test takers

GRE scores are separated by section category
• Students receive individual scores for Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing.

• The Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning sections of the GRE are scored on a scale of 130-170, in 1-point increments. Half of the students who take the GRE score between 145 and 158 on Verbal, and between 146-159 on Quantitative.
