How long is IELTS score valid?

Why are IELTS scores only valid for two years?

The validity of the IELTS score becomes crucial and should not be more than two years to apply for a visa successfully as a visa might get rejected easily due to this.
USA: 2 Years: More than 3,000 institutions in the USA accept the IELTS certificate.
Canada: 2 Years: You must submit the IELTS test validity for Canadian immigration within a year of submitting your application.
UK: 2 Years: Within six weeks of the results' release, you have the right to request more information and file an appeal if unsatisfied, although the revaluation is costly.
Australia: 3 years: As part of modifications to the GSM visa program, IELTS validity was increased to three years.
