How many attempts are there for the GATE exam

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a nationwide test that is given to applicants for postgraduate (Masters and Doctoral Programs) financial aid, assistantships, and other government scholarships and assistantships.
Attempts
The number of times one can take the GATE exam is unrestricted. How many GATE tries a candidate can make is entirely up to them.
Scores
The validity for exam results is three years from the release date of the results. Thus, an applicant does not need to retake the GATE for the next three years.
Results
PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) and various other Indian colleges also use the exam results in their hiring procedures.
Eligibility
To enter these educational institutions, candidates must, however, also satisfy the entrance requirements of the admitting institute.
