HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE GATE EXAM WITHOUT COACHING

Every engineering student must pass the GATE exam. Lakhs of students take the GATE exam to get into various PSUs or their dream colleges for further studies. Following the right approach without coaching is essential to crack the exam.
Follow the GATE 2023 syllabus to understand the examination requirements, as knowing the paper before beginning preparation is the first step.
KNOW SYLLABUS AND PATTERN OF THE GATE EXAM
Refer to the original and appropriate books which previous toppers of the GATE exam have followed, as these books will facilitate the needs of preparation.
DECIDE BOOKS & STUDY MATERIALS
Following a daily routine or plan ensures preparation on the right track. The syllabus could be divided into smaller targets that could be covered to avoid wastage of time.
STICK TO DAILY PLAN
Make flashcards of keywords, formulas, concepts, and definitions for later review. Short notes and flashcards save time and effort when revising all topics just before the GATE Exam 2022.

Knowing one's strengths and weaknesses is advantageous when taking the GATE exam. So, every day, examine both easy and challenging topics. Prepare the easy topics first, and then progress to the complex topics

BE CONSISTENT
Allow enough time to cover the entire syllabus. Make an effort to finish the syllabus on time. The weightage of Engineering Mathematics and General Aptitude in the GATE Exam is approximately 30%, which requires special attention.

Exam preparation requires mock tests and sample papers. Mock tests are available from a variety of coaching institutions and online platforms. Join a test series and continue to analyze your preparation with mock tests.
