IELTS General Training (GT) Purpose
IELTS General Training is the ideal choice if you want to immigrate to an English-speaking nation or want to pursue secondary education at a level below that of a bachelor's degree.
IELTS Academic (AC) Purpose
This test is the one to select if you want to pursue undergraduate or graduate school abroad
Different Formats
IELTS GT has 4 modules that are Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking, taken in the same sequence. The Writing and Reading sections are different from Academic Writing and Reading.
Writing- Students write Task 1, a Report and Task 2, an essay.
Reading- three long passages- 40 Questions

Listening- 30 minutes Audio play-10 minutes- Transfer time-40 questions.
