IELTS band score calculator

The score ranges from 0 to 9 for all modules in half-band increments.

WRITING:

TASK-1: Task Achievement/ Coherence and Cohesion(CC)/ Lexical Resource(LR)/ Grammatical Range and Accuracy(GRA). TASK-2: Task Response/ CC/ LR/ GRA. TASK 2 has double weightage when the Writing overall score is calculated.

LISTENING:

Raw scores are put into scaled scores with the help of a calculator. For example, if out of 40, you got 35 or 36 correct answers, then the final band would be 8.0. A public version of this calculator is available on the internet.

READING:

The reading calculator applies different scales for Academic and GT. Wherein for band 8, you need 33 or 34 and 37 or 38 correct answers for academic and GT, respectively. There is no half mark so you can get 1 or 0 for each answer.

SPEAKING:
