IELTS Eligibility for Canada

The IELTS band scores show the student's English language proficiency level, and it ranges from 1 to 9. They can choose a better university if the band is better, and the minimum band requirement is 6 for admission to Canadian universities.
After 12, students must score at least 5.5 in the four categories—writing, reading, speaking, and listening. The aggregate score should be around 6.0 for the undergraduate courses.
International students will need higher grades and band requirements for the post-graduation courses. All four IELTS sections must be at least 6 for the students to pass, and their overall score must be greater than 6.5.
Although Canada is one of the most welcoming nations for immigration, the IELTS score requirements are pretty strict.
Every university and college establishes an IELTS score based on value and recognition. Not all Canadian universities will have the exact IELTS score requirement.
IELTS CLB 7 is the required level of language proficiency for Canada immigration in 2023, which translates to at least 6.0 IELTS bands for each section for a Canada student visa.
