The qualifying JEE Main cut-off or Qualifying Marks refers to the minimum marks scored to qualify for the JEE Advanced Phase. This qualifying cut-off is provided along with the JEE Main Results.
For the admission and institute allotments, authorities release the admission cut-off separately after every round of allotment. This is the reason, the cut-off stays different depending on the categories, institute, and course.
Qualifying marks
This year, CSAB has re-introduced the 75% qualifying marks in board exams for NIT, IIT, and CFTI admissions.
Prestigious institutes
As per the revised JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria, applicants must need to score at least 75% marks in their board exams for NIT, IIIT, and CFTI admissions.
Note that JEE Advanced is the second stage to JEE Mains to get admission in prestigious institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, etc. Only the ones who manage to clear the cut-off for the JEE mains will be able to proceed further.
