Minimum IELTS Score Requirement

Broadly speaking, IELTS does not have a minimum passing score. Every university has its own set scale of IELTS band score depending upon the different courses in which you enroll.
While we talk about the academic test, mostly the minimum band score requirement in IELTS is 6.5 or above. Whereas in General training, the minimum scores vary.
Since universities around the world have different eligibility criteria, you must ensure to score the best to your capability. The better your command over English, the better would be the IELTS score.
What is the minimum IELTS score requirement in the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany? Depending upon your suitability, the minimum criteria varies.
For top universities in Canada, the minimum band score required is 6.5 or higher. For the USA, it is 6.0. For Australia, it is 5.5.
While we talk about the UK, it certainly varies for different universities. For France, the lowest score to get through is 6.5 and for Germany, the minimum criteria is set to 5.5.
