The SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern has recently undergone a significant alteration as the SSC GD Constable 2023 Notification is out. The exam format for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) has changed but is unchanged for the remaining phases.
FOUR SEPARATE SUBJECTS FOR CBT
The computer-based exam will cover four distinct subjects, primarily general intelligence and reasoning, followed by general knowledge and general awareness, elementary mathematics, and English/Hindi.
GENERAL INTELLIGENCE & REASONING
Coding and decoding, on-verbal series, arithmetic number series and reasoning, visual memory, figural classification, relationship concepts, observation, and other topics are covered.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & GENERAL AWARENESS
It includes 20 questions of 40 marks that cover current affairs, history, geography, politics, economy and culture, the environment, scientific research, and other modules.
ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS
It covers topics like Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, and is based on school mathematics with 20 questions worth 40 points.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
This language section includes topics such as Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms-Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Misspelled Words, Idioms & Phrases, One Word Substitution, Sentence Improvements, and others.
HINDI LANGUAGE
With 20 questions worth 40 points, this Indian language section focuses on Verbal Ability, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Grammar.
PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST
It is the next stage in the SSC GD exam that aspirants must complete with full vigour and enthusiasm. It requires stamina and patience to complete short races, jumps, and others.
MEDICAL TEST
Candidates who pass the written exam are invited to the medical examination, and those who pass this stage have their documents verified to obtain a government job.

OBJECTIVE OF SSC GD EXAM
