What is an Express Entry profile for Canada Immigration?

For immigrants looking to start over in Canada, Express Entry is the quickest and most popular route to permanent residency. Through this scheme, Canada annually accepts about 110,000 skilled workers.
To complete your profile, you’ll need
  • Information from certain documents (for example, language test results)
  • your NOC job title and code
National Occupational Classification (NOC) system to classify occupations. Jobs are grouped into training, education, experience, and responsibilities (TEER) categories based on the type of:
  • Job
  • Work a person does (duties)
Certain documents you will need at different stages of the Express Entry application process:
  • A passport or travel document
  • Language test results
  • Proof of Canadian education or an educational credential assessment
  • Provincial nomination (if available)
