What is the eligibility for Canada PR?

Receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence does not depend on the Express Entry profile only. Based on your score and position in the Express Entry pool, you will be allowed to apply for permanent residence using the CRS.
To qualify for Canada PR, you have to meet two criteria:
  • Score 67 immigration points
  • Score the cut-off CRS score for that year
The applicant has to score at least 67 points out of 100 to be eligible for a Canada PR Visa. You can also earn extra points if you move with your spouse to Canada.

The Comprehensive Ranking System is used to compare immigration prospects in the Express Entry pool (CRS). An Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence is given to the best applicants.
