What's a Good GMAT Score

Depending on the desired business schools, a good GMAT score can vary. Therefore, the first thing we must realize is that the term "good" is a relative one. A certain score can be acceptable for one business school but not for another.
USA
For the top 50 business schools in the US in 2021, the average GMAT score is 703. It falls between 634 and 734.
Similarly, the top business schools in Europe had an average GMAT score of 676, with scores ranging from 638 to 709.
EUROPE
CANADA & AUSTRALIA
The average GMAT score range for the best MBA programs in Canada is between 520 and 780, and for the best MBA programs in Australia, it is between 600 and 695.
IMPORTANT DETAIL

At some schools, a score of 600 might be seen as low. The average GMAT score for business schools like Wharton, Stanford, Kellogg, UC Berkeley, Columbia, and MIT Sloan is above 720.

A person with a 770 GMAT is far more likely to receive financial support than someone with a 670, states Jon Fuller, a former admissions director at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
