Without IELTS accepting universities in the USA

Some universities in the United States of America accept admission applications without the requirement of taking an IELTS exam. These universities may accept other forms of English language proficiency tests like PTE/TOEFL/Duolingo etc.
To seek admission and apply for programs at Rice University, you do not need to sit for the IELTS exam. You may alternatively appear for the Duolingo test.
Rice University
Another institute, the University of Delaware doesn’t require an IELTS test result either. Instead, you may sit for ELI (English Language for Internationals).
University of Delaware
This University also doesn’t require an IELTS test result. You can rather sit for EIKEN/ IB/ Cambridge English Test/ ELS or PTE Academic test.
Northwood University
The University of Dayton again doesn’t require you to take the IELTS exam. You may instead take the Duolingo or PTE test.
University of Dayton
You may take any of the PTE/ iTEP/ Cambridge Assessment English/Duolingo tests rather than the IELTS as an English language requirement at this institute.
